Dr. Somnath Das is working as an Associate Professor of Department of Ophthalmology of Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (Kolkata). His speciality lies in Anterior Segment Surgery which includes Phacoemulsification, Oculoplasty and Glaucome. 

He holds an MBBS degree from Calcutta Medical College which he completed in 1991. His MS in Ophthalmology was pursued from IPGMER, Kolkata.
